ICE is expanding in much of Antarctica, contrary to the widespread public belief that global warming is melting the continental ice cap.
The results of ice-core drilling and sea ice monitoring indicate there is no large-scale melting of ice over most of Antarctica, although experts are concerned at ice losses on the continent's western coast.However, the picture is very different in east Antarctica, which includes the territory claimed by Australia.
East Antarctica is four times the size of west Antarctica and parts of it are cooling. The Scientific Committee on Antarctic Research report prepared for last week's meeting of Antarctic Treaty nations in Washington noted the South Pole had shown "significant cooling in recent decades".
It seems as if human beings need a religion to adhere to as much as they need "dragons" to contend with.
Ignoring the normal adversaries of a civilization leaves you with finding battles to wage against foes that can't even be confirmed to exist.
The push to combat global warming is to misappropriate Western peoples allegiances against a non terrestrial threat (you can only get so much mileage off of "white guilt"). One which, naturally, all races and peoples need to come together to fight against.
It just further demonstrates the dilapidated and perverse state of the liberal mind that in their pursuit of politically correct adversaries they turn to the theoretical threats which may be caused at some point in the future because of melting ice, all the while denying the very real and present threats posed by immigration, muslim terrorists, forced racial integration, socialistic government etc...
But if the ice doesn't melt, then what?
