Unconstitutional?...

Everyone I know is fuming over the "unconstitutional" health-care bill that was "un-democratically" shoved down our throats.

I have to keep explaining to such people that compared to legislation passed in the 1960's Obamacare is a minor triviality.

It's amazing (yet sadly not unexpected) that so many seem to gloss over the rather draconian and spirit-crushing bits of legislation commonly refereed to as "civil rights".

Many seem to prefer to ignore or forget that among the "civil rights" accomplishments were,

Legalizing Abortion

Throwing God out of the schools

and

Promoting homosexuality

amongst other equally insidious acts.

And these were done under the notion of "equality". And to bring about "equality" our society had to destroy, in theory and in fact, Freedom of Association.

Since the "civil rights" legislation went into effect, Americans have been told (under threat of government force) who they must live among, who they can do business with, who they can vacation with, who their children must attend school with and in what company they can congregate.
All done to criminalize discrimination.

Yet the most fundamental freedom that can be had (either collectively or individually) is the right to discriminate. Take away that right and freedom is instantly dead.

Demonize the concept (of discrimination) in a a society and that society WILL acquiesce all power over every aspect their lives.

Because discrimination, at its very root, is the freedom and will to say yes or no.

Without it there is neither ability nor will to differentiate between what is good or evil, true or false, beauty or ugliness, hope or despair, man or woman, black or White, up or down and so on.

The entire premise of "equality" is the certain erosion of sanity.

Because men and women are not equal.
Whites and blacks are not equal.
Adults and children are not equal.
Darkness and Light are not equal.
Christianity and judaism are not equal.
Etc..
Etc...

To deny such is to be, quite literally, delusional. Or put more bluntly, insane.

Thus we have to discriminate or society will collapse into chaos. Which, not surprisingly, it has been doing since the 1960's.

And naturally a cascading effect takes place.

For example, many Christian parents today rejected their ancestors stance and declared that there was nothing wrong with interracial marriage, yet they're downright perplexed as to why their children's generation of Christians increasingly declares that there is nothing wrong with gay marriage either.

The one leads to the other, yet these folks have been so indoctrinated by neo-Marxist-Christian group think over the past 30 years that they cannot and will not see it.
And in time even the most adamant of conservative 'bible believing' Christian WILL embrace homosexuality and find that it (much like interracial marriage before it) can be accommodated to a new biblical interpretation of certain passages.
It IS inevitable, as once you acclimate your worldview to the "equality" paradigm you have no foundation what-so-ever to reject all the "new" arrangements, lest you discriminate.

And 40 years from now their Christian grandchildren will declare with absolute conviction that there never was a biblical justification for anti-homosexual attitudes. That it was just a reflection of the bias of the era and that their grandparents views were "products of the time".

I can only suppose that it never really sinks in to many of these Christians that pre-Christian Europe was dominated by the Roman Empire (at its most decadent) -which was a multi-continental, multicultural, ethnically diverse and 'equality seeking' Empire. --and Christians were thrown to the lions.

The advent of Christianity ended that "we are the world" empire and ushered in a new age of ethnic/race based kingdoms and their perspective borders and natural divisions.

Today, we have worked to reconstruct that decadent and corrupt multicultural Rome with the help and advocacy of the neo-Babylonian Christians. And yet, not surprisingly, the Christians, once again, may not be too far away from being "live" entertainment to distract the crowds.

Ironically, most of those who see themselves as "true believers" will in fact be part of the eager audience.

Ultimately that is the problem with "conservatives" in general though. They are every bit the leftwing zealots as their openly radical liberal brethren.

The liberals have gone torch-happy and are running around our civilization setting everything ablaze.

The "conservatives" are following after them with the gasoline.
