Barack Obama is the dumbest president...EVER.
That is a reasonable conclusion once you've assessed the first nineteen months of his presidency and compared it to the definition of intelligence put together by researchers in the field.
In all areas of his presidency, Obama has demonstrated a striking disregard of facts, lack of good reasoning, and inability to function at an executive level, all at the core of the textbook definition of intelligence derived from more than a half century of research. Intelligence, the experts tell us, comes down to understanding the meaning of the world around us, and then using that understanding to live skillfully and appropriately (i.e., to get stuff done).

And that's the thing, the neo-right continues to harp about what idiots the left are even as the left continues to crush the right and institutionalize an increasingly Marxist mandate on every facet of day-to-day life.
The oil spill in the gulf is a case in point.
What do leftists want?........Increased centralization of direct governmental control.
What's the fastest and surest way to achieve that?.......A crisis requiring government involvement.
Thus if the gulf spill should turn the waters there completely black and destroy all plant and animal life from Miami to Brownsville the left will consider it an outstanding success.
As to the greater point of this post,
America is not (nor ever was) a nation. For a nation is an extended family -a tribe related genetically and sharing a common origin.
The English are a nation. The Irish are a nation. The Germans are a nation.
Being a nation has nothing to do with a zip-code or pledging a common creed.
It does, however, have everything to do with shared blood, irregardless of borders or politics and so on.
Put it this way, a people can have no homeland and still be a nation.
As is obvious by the lingo in the linked article, to conservatives America is no more than a corporation. Hence their definition of a good leader looking so much like that of a CEO.
To the leftist America is no more than another disposable tool to achieve their goals of a global "brotherhood".
