A growing pilot and passenger revolt over full-body scans and what many consider intrusive pat-downs couldn't have come at a worse time for the nation's air travel system.
Thanksgiving, the busiest travel time of the year, is less than two weeks away.
Grassroots groups are urging travelers to either not fly or to protest by opting out of the full-body scanners and undergo time-consuming pat-downs instead.
Such concerns prompted a meeting Friday of Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano with leaders of travel industry groups.
Being a loyal Consumerzen of the Empire means there are some things that are just too much to tolerate.
The Mass flooding of civilization with the third world hordes? Nope.
The ruination of critical infrastructure, like roads, bridges, services, etc...? Nope.
Roving gangs of murderous thugs? Hope.
Political corruption that is blatant and overt? Not a chance.
The rapidly crumbling economy and deteriorating standard of living? No again.
Airport scanners? Damn right, their upset!!!!!
And who can blame them?
With skyrocketing unemployment and near basement level lows for real wages the Consumerzens only real solace is in blowing what little disposable income they have left on expensive trips to and fro.
Who dare infringe upon, or impede in any way, their anticipated orgy of spending money they don't have????.
