Reality...

The WSJ reports:
“Beginning this fall, Alabama public schools will be under a new state-created academic accountability system that sets different goals for students in math and reading based on their race, economic status, ability to speak English and disabilities.” Alabama’s Plan 2020 “sets a different standard for students in each of several subgroups — American Indian, Asian/Pacific islander, black, English language learners, Hispanic, multirace, poverty, special education and white.”

Of the 33 states granted a waiver last year, 27 now have different achievement goals for different groups of students.

This is actually pragmatic and reasonable. As a wise man once said, the greatest injustice of all is to treat unequal things equal.

Although segregation in schools and academia will need to be restored and expanded if higher education is to once again have high standards.

Over the past 45 years state and federal governments have thrown billions, if not trillions, of dollars into program after program in an effort to engineer equality. After all, it wasn't equal opportunity which they sought, but equal outcome.

If you believe in equality, then it is an absolute guarantee that every single endeavor you undertake will fail.
Because equality, be it racial, ethnic, gender, class, etc., is non-existent. All of human history testifies to this reality. Nature itself rejects the premise.

Studies have consistently illustrated the racial IQ gap which finds hispanics and blacks on the low end.  Mongrels (mixed race peoples) group on the low end also, as well as having a host of physical and psychological problems which makes them maladjusted in societies across the world.

And beyond that you don't have to look very hard to see the reality of vast differences in the various races. Differences not only in IQ, but in temperament, morality, ethical standards, cognitive abilities and cultural associations as well as different approaches and expectations in social codes, laws and the general order of life.
And none of that is bad. Each group has its own inherent approach to civilization and each approach is valid for that group.
The problem comes when a few power mad "change agents" attempt to enforce a single social order upon divergent groups for whom such an arrangement runs contrary to their very nature.

Were it not for the threat of government force, peoples would have segregated themselves along racial and cultural lines, naturally. When empires fall this always happens. The last such examples were in eastern Europe where, with the fall of the Soviet Union, the various ethnic groups segregated themselves from one another to live freely as they would. This also happened in the former Yugoslavia and Czechoslovakia.

And it is a guarantee to happen in the United States as well.

Multiculturalism and racial diversity are only to be found under tyranny.
