Nation: from Latin nationem (nominative natio) "birth, origin; breed, stock, kind, species; race of people...from natus, past participle of nasci "be born" (Old Latin gnasci), from PIE root *gene- "give birth, beget," with derivatives referring to procreation and familial and tribal groups.
From this word we also get words like natal -as in post-natal unit, etc.
Patriot: from patrios "of one's fathers," patris "fatherland," from pater (genitive patros) "father"
From this word we also get patriarchy: from patria "family, clan," from pater "father"
Both patriot and nation mean, essentially, blood -race, ethnic group, a particular people descended from the same biological fathers lineage.
A nation is NOT a place. A nation is an ethnic group.
A patriot is a son who carries the blood of his father, grandfather, etc.
Both Patriot and Nation are explicitly racial connotations.
Those who wish to set aside racial and ethnic differences are known as globalists, aka, universalists, aka Marxists.
